Not as good as the earbuds that came with my IPod.March 16, 2010 kamac(maryland) I have had the J2's for about a month now and I have to keep going back to the Earbuds that came with my Nano just to enjoy the sound while I am walking. Compared to the J2's the iPod earbuds sound great. I have to wonder why I bought another set of buds except the J2's are more comfortable in my ears while walking. I too have tried the break-in procedure and it has done no good. I have to turn my iPod volume all the way up just to hear the music. After reading some reviews I will try to contact the company and see it they will replace them.

-comfortable to wear (even over 5hrs)
-noise isolation is pretty good
-sound quality is not bad
-cord is a little on the long side but better to be longer than too short

My first Ear BudsMarch 15, 2010 F. Locke These are the first ear buds I've owned, I got them to use at work to block the noise from a very loud co-worker. They do a really good job at that! I usually use headphones that are on the outside of my ear rather than in because most don't stay in place on my ears well and they are usually uncomfortable to me. Having said that, these don't bother me much, which I have to believe means they are fine for others. They sound fine, I did the suggested break in period. Highs and lows are good. I suppose there are others on the market that sound better, but for the price I think they're really good. A good buy.
