In addition, this adapter works only with Mini-DVI ports, not with Micro-DVI or Mini Display Ports. To quickly check what port you have: this adapter has a U-shaped connector that will match the U-shape found on Mini-DVI ports.

wrong adaptorJuly 14, 2010 g man The company sent the wrong adaptor. I ended up buying the correct adaptor from Apple at an Apple Store. It is not cost effective retiun the adaptor due to low cost. I requested a mini DVI to VGA adaptor, it did not fit my computer port on my Macbook Pro. I am not sure where the breakdown occurred. When odering try to speaking with a live person to ensure you are talking the same language.
