If I wanted to buy a hand heater I would have gotten it. This device supposedly was to charge the low mileage iphone.
The problem is that it generates so much heat that you are worried it will fry the phone. I already have enough problems
to worry about. Having my iphone crash would not be good.
Great external iPhone BatteryMay 10, 2010 Todd Robinson(Dublin, OH USA) The EnerG battery case worked as advertised. It was easy to charge and fit my phone well. I orginally picked it up to use when golfing (use the iPhone as a golf GPS with Golflogix), but it has been useful off the course as well. My only quasi knock on the product would be that it's a little thick, but for the price, it's not that big of a deal.

I love the concept of this accessory but just can't use it long enough for it to work. When I first received it, the power button was inconsistent. Sometimes it would charge and other times it wouldn't. Even if the accessory just finished a full charge, I still couldn't get a charge on my iphone. I returned for a replacement and the 2nd one worked perefectly...until the power button came right out so now there is no way to charge. The company that sold this through Amazon won't allow me to return it again since it's been 90 days from the original purchase date, and not 90 days from the replacement. Again, great concept but really need to work out the production bugs and the retailer's return policy leaves alot to be desired.

Works as advertized, but has a bug. If my phone switches to the Edge network, either manually or automatically, the phone goes nuts. It can't decide whether or not it's charging. The power switch becomes inoperative. I have to disconnect it from the case until 3G is working again.
