I try on my car stereo, my wife's stereo, TV.
I got iphone 4 now, and try it again.
No luck.
I don't know why some poster said works fine and some are not (like me)
It maybe poor quality control product.
Some works fine and some won't in same batch.
I don't gamble and I don't expect retailer as Casino dealer.

I ordered this item with some trepidation after others reported problems, but i got this to output video from the Netflix app, Youtube, photo slideshows and iTunes on an iPhone 4 and iPad 3G without any difficulty at all. It's a good deal at half the price of the "official" Apple accessory and still lets you charge your device while video is playing.
Poor Quality and Doesn't work well with iPhone3gJune 22, 2010 AG(Atlanta, GA) One more bad experience from Market place purchase. This is a very poor quality cable and hardly works with iphone 3g. I am keep getting warning message saying the cable is not supported by the phone. Tried to talk to customer service phone number but there are no one to take the calls. Called several times and left voice messages but theu never returned the calls.
Amazon should ban such sellers.

It does not work with my iphone 3gs. and there was no packing slip with the merchandise to call the company.... had to get the number from amazon and still cannot get a hold of anyone from this company.........gonna try the one by belkin.....AND the plug that goes into my iphone makes me feel like im gonna break my phone trying to get it out.....
